Your Local Used Bicycle Shop, Repair Centre and Alternative Provision
ABOUT US
Revitalizing pre-owned bicycles and guiding volunteers and youth has been a core focus for us. The restoration of donated bikes do not only find there way into our discounted sales room, they are also distributed to various recipients in need, such as schools, community groups, refugees, and more.
In addition to our efforts in the workshop, where we rejuvenate and enhance bicycles, we also establish bike repair stations within the community. These stations provide a space for people to bring their bikes for free or low-cost repairs.
Additionally, we host Learn to Fix workshops that enable the community to acquire and hone their bicycle repair skills.
Re-cycle
At its core, 'recycling' is what we do best. We take in used bikes and breathe new life into them. Our dedicated cycle mechanics are deeply passionate about this process, giving old bikes a fresh start providing affordable, quality used bicycles.
At Cornwall Life Recycle, we don't just give bikes a second chance, but we also provide Alternative Provision for young people who may struggle in traditional education. Our goal is to offer a supportive and nurturing environment, collaborating with schools to create tailored programs either on-site or within the school setting, allowing these young individuals to shine and succeed.
Volunteers
Our dedicated volunteers are the backbone of Cornwall Life Recycle. Their involvement is priceless as they connect people, skills, and our noble causes. They contribute in various ways, whether it's assisting with bike maintenance and administrative tasks for a few hours or sharing their expertise in engineering and technical areas. They are the heartbeat of our organization, leaving a significant impact on our mission.
